In the CP3 CDT, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and develop innovative problem-led research skills that are focused on the design, development and manufacture of high quality and high added-value particulate products. Our 4 year integrated PhD and Masters programme equips you with the training and skills you need to pursue a related career in academia or industry.

Year 1 - Students spend time building a knowledge and methodological base with taught modules in practical chemistry and engineering subjects, alongside management topics and transferable skills training (communication, problem-solving, leadership and team-working), as well as being introduced to their PhD project.

Year 2 - Combination of MSc study and PhD research

Years 3 & 4 - Dedicated to PhD research
