I completed my undergraduate course here at the University of Leeds in 2016, a BEng in Petroleum Engineering. For the duration of the course I was awarded the Process Engineering Scholarship, which was awarded to the top 5 applicants in the first year. I was also awarded a prize for the best group project in my final year. During my time at the university, I have been fortunate enough to be chosen to attend a summer school at Xiamen University, which was also open to 5 people from my year in the final year of my course.
I’ve decided to pursue the complex particulate products and processes course to learn about researching and formulating high-added value products, which I developed an interest in during my undergraduate degree. I hope to combine this learning to my earlier course to pursue a R&D career in the oil and gas sector.
Outside of my academic studies I enjoy playing musical instruments, with my main passion being the piano. I am also a keen cyclist and tennis player.
