Welcome to the Centre for Doctoral Training in Complex Particulate Products and Processes (CDT CP3)

Based in the School of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Leeds, CDTCP3 is the UK’s largest and most prolific complex particulates research centre.

As particles, or droplets, form part of every substance the UK manufactures, our work touches almost every aspect of modern life. From healthcare and pharmaceuticals to agrochemicals and paint products, it is our remit to make lives safer, healthier, more sustainable and more efficient. We are excited to be training the world’s next generation of particle scientists and engineers and to be driving forward this £200bn industry.
